Fightcade Guide

Fightcade Client

1. Register for a Fightcade account
2. Download Fightcade
3. Install Fightcade, following the instructions
4. Launch the Fightcade client from the start menu
5. Sign into your account

Fightcade ROMs

There is an automated way of downloading roms that can be found in the official guide, I haven't had any luck with this though. Manual ROM downloads below.

Add ROMs to Fightcade:

1. From the top menu of Fightcade click 'ROMs'
2. Click 'Open ROMs Folder'
3. In the file browser window that opens, navigate to 'FBNeo ROMs'
4. Place (do not extract) the ROM .zip files that you downloaded into this folder

Join a game lobby

1. Click the Search magnifying glass on the left side of the Fightcade window
2. Search for the game of your choice
3. Hover over the result and click 'Join',
   Note that with a free account you can only join three lobbies

Fightcade Video Settings

Start a game without an opponent by clicking "Test Game" in the top right of the Fightcade window.

Ensure the following settings are set:

• Video -> Select Blitter -> DirectX 9 Alt
• Video -> Blitter Options -> Enable Point Filtering
• Video -> Stretch -> Correct Aspect Ratio
• Video -> Monitor Properties -> Automatically detect fullscreen resolution and aspect ratio

Fightcade Input settings

Start a game without an opponent by clicking "Test Game" in the top right of the Fightcade window.

To set the player inputs:

• Game -> Map Game Inputs

(The default input settings are ASDZXC, Arrow Keys, 1 = Start, 5 = Coin)

Challenge a player

Right click a player in the player list and click challenge.

Note that if you are set to online you will likely get challenges from random players, you can change this by clicking your player icon in the bottom left of the window and setting yourself to away.
